The Organisation Intersex International is a non-profit organisation incorporated in the Province of Quebec, Canada with members representing almost all known intersex variations. It has members in North and South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia.
We in OII wish to inform the public about the eugenics movement which we consider an imminent danger to the intersex community. This site is devoted to the history of the eugenics movement and the current controversy in the intersex community after such predominant figures as Alice Dreger, Eric Vilain and J Michael Bailey redefined intersex as a genetic disorder.
We stand for the priciples of equality and justice with human dignity and respect for human life as the most basic rights which should be granted to all individuals.
